[Woohoo! The next installation of my Untitled piece! Aparently, there are at least a few people who will read it. Knowing that helps, so thanks!]

Shane simply walked out of Aaron’s room, trying not to question his own thoughts. He sat down on the old couch in the living room. Aaron, digging through her closet, finally found something she could wear on a “nice summer day.” Though, none of Aaron’s clothes could be described as snug on her. Aaron always hated tight-fitted clothing.
Quickly, she slipped out of the black The Ramones wife-beater and black pajama bottoms that she wore. Her outfit was a pair of stone-washed jeans; they were pretty much shredded at the knees. For her shirt, she slipped on a loose-fitted neon red tee with a black bat. Through her belt loops, she weaved her black studded belt. Out of the bottom of the bed, she pulled out a black spray-painted shoebox. Inside were all of her spare dollar bills, and she pulled a few of them out. Stuffing them in her pocket, she leaped down the stairs.
“Okay! Ready to go… even though it’s WAY too early!” Aaron complained, a train of yawns following.
“If there’s light out, it’s too early for you.” He replied while picking at the holes at the knees of his black jeans.
“True, true.”
Shane slowly got up from the soft navy blue couch. As he walked over to her at the foot of the stairs, he straightened his Atreyu tee shirt. Aaron slipped on her red chucks as Shane leaned against the wall beside her.
“So, how did you get in?” Aaron questioned as she finished getting her shoes on.
“Don’t you remember?”
[Flashback]
Aaron walked home from shopping at the mall. Earlier, she had asked Shane if he would go to the mall with her. But he was going with his girlfriend, Kaylee. She wasn’t his type, but oh well… and she didn’t deserve him. Aaron always warned him about her cheating on him, he never believed her.
Her feet trudged slowly along the white sidewalk. It was freezing out and snowing.
‘Urgh, I can’t believe Shane won’t believe me about Kaylee. She doesn’t deserve him, he’s too nice. This is why I don’t date!’ Aaron silently fumed.
Steadily, she turned the corner to her house. The house would be empty since her mom was always out working since Aaron’s dad died. Sitting on the steps up to her house sat Shane, his eyes blood-shot and puffy. He was shivering and covered in a coat of snow, he must have been there for quite a while.
“Shane?” Aaron asked questioningly as she headed to the house.
‘Duh, it’s him!’ Aaron thought in reply to herself.
“I’m sorry,” whimpered Shane.
It was heart-wrenching to see Shane in that state. Aaron didn’t ask if he was crying that would be the last thing he would want to talk about.
“Why?” Aaron questioned.
“I… I should’ve believed you. She broke up with me; Kaylee said she loved someone else. The whole time... she’s been cheating on me.”
Aaron ran over and brushed the snow off of him. She wanted him to find out about Kaylee cheating, but not like this.
‘He was so in love with her. That bitch!’ Aaron angrily thought.
Aaron gave him a tight hug. He was her best friend and he needed to know someone cared, right then. Out of her black messenger bag, she pulled out her keys.
“You could have just gone in,” she told Shane.
“I don’t have a key,” reminded Shane.
“Oh yeah, it’s in the creepy lion on the right’s mouth… you know, the spare key. Just put it back afterwards.” Aaron told him.
There were two creepy lions with open mouths on each side of the steps up to Aaron’s house. Together they walked in, a smile cracking open on each of their faces.
[/Flashback]
Shane still hasn’t completely gotten over that.
